Accrington Boxing was established in December 2006 as Kokoro Gym, and for many years was the only boxing gym in Accrington. A family run club and registered business, we are sanctioned professionally by the British Boxing Board of Control.

Over the years, Accrington Lions Community Boxing Club CIC was established, becoming a big part of Kokoro Gym. Together, we train children as young as 3 in development classes, through to competitive England amateur boxers, providing an official pathway through to the professional ranks.

We are also sanctioned and insured by England Boxing and by the ISKA for anyone training on a recreational basis or in martial arts, which chief instructor Mr Jason Curtis has over 40 years of experience in.
